Spring has finally arrived! The charming city of Charleston, SC, is abuzz with excitement, and it's time for our furry friends to put a spring in their step. 1. "Paws on the Patio"- March 14, 2024
Bring your furry friend for an exclusive happy hour at Burton's Grill in Mount Pleasant from 6-8. Admission is $30 per person and includes 2 drink tickets plus an appetizer buffet, as well as a party favor for your pup from Hairy Winston Pet Boutique! Proceeds benefit the Charleston Animal Society. Get ready for a barktastic night out!
2. "St. Patrick's Day Dog Adoption Brunch" - March 17, 2024
Come enjoy a pint, brunch, and doggy cuddles at Commonhouse Aleworks on St. Patrick's Day! Southern Tails for Precious Paws will be there with lots of adoptable dogs and puppies! If you're looking to add a furever family member, or even want to know more about being a foster, check it out from 11-3pm! The event will feature live music, brunch from Swig & Swine, mimosas, Bloody Mary's and your favorite Commonhouse beers!
3. "Small Dog Meet Up" - March 17, 2024
Bring your little pup out to the James Island County Park for some off-leash fun with other pint-sized pooches. The small dog area of the dog park is fenced off from the large dogs section. Admission to the park is $2. Get ready for some tail-wagging fun!
4. "ArtFest" at Mount Pleasant Town Centre- March 23, 2024
This annual free, dog-friendly event is from 11-3pm and is a pawsome time to get out with your furry friend! The event has complimentary live music, activities, performances and an Art Walk Stroll featuring local artists. Various food and beverage vendors will be at the event with yummy treats available for purchase. Don't miss out!
5. "Pups and Pints" Yappy Hour - March 28, 2024
Dogs and their owners are invited to the Wannamaker County Park's dog park for an afternoon of fun! Yappy Hour will kick off at 5:30 PM with live music and complimentary beverages. It will be a howling good time!
As the azaleas paint the town pink and the sea breeze carries the scent of adventure, Charleston is undoubtedly a paradise for pups this spring.
