The Lowcountry offers an array of festive, dog-friendly events this month that will delight you and your furry friend. Here's a curated list of some exciting activities to enjoy together:


1. Holiday Festival of Lights

Date: 12/1-12/31/24

Location:  James Island County Park

Time: 5:30-10pm

Marvel at the twinkling lights, enjoy mouth-watering treats or commemorate your trip with a gift from one of our shops. So many chances to make magical, lasting memories!


2. Pet Photos with Santa

Date: Mondays, 12/1-12/16

Location: Northwoods Mall

Time:  11-7pm

Bring your furry friends for photos with Santa during these special Monday time slots! Photo packages will be available for purchase.


3. Holiday Block Party

Date: 12/12/24

Location: New Realm Brewery

Time: 12-5pm

A festive celebration to ring in the season with friends, family, and neighbors! This event is all about community spirit, fun activities, and spreading holiday cheer.


4. Hoppy Holidays 5K

Date: 12/14/24

Location: Charles Towne Fermentory Garden

Time: 12pm

Don't miss out on the joy, camaraderie, and holiday cheer. Lace up your running shoes, dress to impress, and make memories at the South Carolina Brewery Running Series' Christmas 5k Fun Run.


5. Charleston Holiday Parade of Boats

Date: 12/14/24

Location: Various viewing points along the Charleston Harbor

Time: 6pm

Leashed dogs are welcome at this annual tradition where participants decorate their boats and sail the Charleston Harbor to delight thousands gathered along the shore!


6. Town of Mount Pleasant Christmas Parade

Date: 12/15/24

Location: Coleman Blvd

Time: 5:30-8pm

Brilliantly lit floats and community groups will march up West Coleman Boulevard as the Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade sets sail to the delight of thousands of residents and visitors.


From holiday events, to 5K races, to photos with Santa, there is so much fun to be had this month with your furry friend. Make the most of the holiday season with your canine companion!
